Chris' Second Surf Trip

ChrisII10.png

Once again we had the honor to have Chris from Nappy Dog Surf touring with us for a few days over Thanksgiving weekend. As it was just a couple of days and we mostly surfed a small punchy beachbreak near the city but Chris was all over it, surfing for hours on end, all tides all day just smiling and praising the warm water and the never ending supply of perfect small waves .

Chris’ final salute or just a hand made visor? Whatever it was he had one more wave, came in smiling and said “definitely coming back”

Mandy's SurfTrip

Mandy17.png

This was Mandy’s first surftrip by herself and also the first time she spent 15 days off on a surftrip, or as she called it: “the surf bum life”.

Mandy11.png

Mandy fit perfectly in the “surf bum life”, waking up at 5:30am to go surf, eat, read a book and then surf again, eat and watch am early movie to be asleep by 9:30pm . Then repeat the next day

Mandy8.png

Mandy became part of the local surfer girls crew almost from day1.

Mandy10.png

Although the swell direction limited us to very few surfbreaks, we got to surf them at all sizes colors and shape. From small to medium to big, Mandy surfed it all.

Nothing but smiles!!!

Debora's Second Surftrip

DeborahII1.png

Debora recently contacted us because she had an upcoming weekend layover in Panama from a 3 week business trip in central america.. She was wondering if we could manage a quick weekend surftrip for her as she wanted to rest and recharge for the last leg of her business trip . Of course we agreed and immediately set to organize a weekend full of fun surf, good food , good music and lots of smiles.

DeborahII3.png

What better way to release tension from sitting in an office all day than some quick backside snaps.

DeborahII4.png

It’s all about style and flow

Debora's Surf Trip

Dé surf Panamá 2 (video d2) - das melhores.PNG

This was Debora’s first surf after spending 9 months out of the water do to a knee injury. She asked us if it was possible to plan a surf tour that would slowly take her from easy waves to more difficult waves as she got her strength, timing and surf rhythm back. We kinda tried to plan such a trip but by the end of the first session we had to scratch it as Debora was already getting on challenging waves and impressing the locals with smooth stylish cutbacks, snaps and crazy take-offs on the bigger sets.

Morning beauty

Deborah5.png

Debora literally surfed all day, didn’t matter if it was sunny, raining , small or big, she was always out there smiling, surfing and just looking good.

Deborah21.jpg

Good friends, good fun, good surf and just a great good time.

High tide shore break surfing on our last day, We surfed 2 to 3 times a day for about 6 days in a row and by the end we were all tired, sunburned (except Debora who was tan) and all very happy.

Sergio's Surf Trip

Sergio12.png

Sergio was one of the funniest and happiest surfers we have ever had the honor to take on a Surf Tour., everywhere we went he made friends , everywhere we went he surfed for hours, and everywhere we went he always seem to get the wave of the day…. maybe this is the reason he was always happy.

Sergio25.jpg

One morning we woke up to a sea turtle upside-down right at our door step. It took Sergio and a local a few minutes to carry and turn the sea turtle around but at the end the where able to safe the sea turtle and help her get back to the beach and the ocean. Here is Sergio with his new friend

Sergio24.jpg

Nothing better than a happy hour with friends after surfing all day

Sergio11.png

It was mostly overcast the whole week which made for windless days and Sergio took advantage of it by surfing 3 to 4 times a day. Sleep, eat, surf, sleep, eat, surf…. repeat 2 more times

Last afternoon surf session. It was already dark by the time Sergio left the water, he could barely move his arms and had trouble staying awake through dinner but his smile was priceless

Chris' Surf Trip

We had the pleasure of having Chris from Nappy Dog Surf touring with us for a couple of weeks in May. We surfed all up and down the Panama Bay and surfed everything from long pointbreaks to punchy beachbreaks.

Catalina's Surf Trip

We had a great time with Catalina, we surfed great waves everyday, went on city tours, spent a lovely afternoon at Casco Viejo and even went to a reggae roots concert with a famous Latin band from Chile called Gondwana.

Bruno's Third Surf Trip

Chame5.png

This was Bruno’s third surf tour with us. He once again had to come to Panama for business and decided again to stay for a weekend tour with us. This time we had a small south swell and decided to surf the beaches and pointbreaks around the bay area. The wave really suited Bruno’s surfing and he was on his A game.

Chame7.jpg

It was offshore and sunny all day and Bruno surfed until he couldn’t move…. might explain why he went to bed at 20:30 every night. Never finished any of the movies he wanted to see after dinner.

Chame6.jpg

Somehow Bruno ended up fitting his 6’2” frame in some of the little barrels on offer.

Bruno's Second Surf Trip

Guanico4.jpg

This was Bruno’s second surf trip with us. He came to Panama for a business and decided to stay over the weekend. His mission: surf as many hours as possible in two and a half days. This was the first stop an hour after picking him up at the hotel.

Guanico7.jpg
Guanico8.jpg

We followed a little pulse of swell up the coast and managed to get 3 surf sessions in fun chest high waves

Bruno’s final waves before running to the airport to catch his flight home…. salty, sunburned, surfed out and happy
